Amazing diverse day trip to Vlore Apollina and Narta
Incroyable!Gezum took the time to explain all about Apollina and the history the museum and a beautiful view to take photos. Was really fascinating We loved the bird watching after this we saw a rare pellican and flamengos we waited until we saw them moving and the lovely bright colour under their wings. Was so calming and amazing to see. Then to Vlore where we ate a delicious lunch on the water front of sea food and local food. Such a beautiful beach resort and we were able to see the lovely old town plus drive up the hill to have an amazing view after lunch. Going back to Tirana using another road which had less traffic and beautifulviews of the surrounding countryside and mountains. Enjoyable and well planned trip!
Taulant is my tour guide, and I enjoyed his company, his friendliness, his knowledge and experience around the places we went. The tour was a small group of 5 people, which i liked as i didn't like those big bus tour which could be chaotic. As a 62 countries traveler, this Lagoon ride was one of my favourite top 10 experiences in my traveling history. Then we went to Berat, walked around in our free time, it was really enjoyable. We were contacted the day before directly by our driver / tour guide; Taulant. We were provided with very clear instructions where to be picked up from, the driver was bang on time. There were 5 of us on the tour in total, Taulant was very good at making sure everyone was included. We had great weather, John the pelican was magnificent, the boat tour was very enjoyable. One of the best tours - Berat / Karavasta
We did various different tours whilst in Albania, and this has to be one of my favourite ones! Karavasta Lagoon is so tucked away, so tranquil and the Dalmatian pelicans very exotic to see! We also saw the flamingoes grouping together on the small isles in the lagoon. Taulant, our guide, took us also to a restaurant/bar nearby where the complex had two huge ostriches running around! My kids were enjoying this surprise a lot! The walk to the beach there is also worth it, as there are pretty seashells by water - fun for the kids to collect! Berat is a small town - extremely quaint, clean and provides some amazing views - both from the fortress and by the river bank. Many superb insta opps in Berat! Picturesque Theth village!
What a beautiful place! Although the road there is not fantastic all the way, once you get there, it’s just incredible! And the Grundas waterfall was really stunning! Right in the middle of the nature, surrounded by the snow capped mountains and the small village in the valley - ever so quaint! Also, there are a few Insta-opps on the way, which makes it all more exciting! Our guide, Taulant, knew the location well, had a good knowledge of the small village and was a good driver despite the below par road condition! I would highly recommend this tour, especially with children! My 9 and 12 year old didn’t want to leave the village! Day trip from Tirana to Theth with beautiful views
A great day trip to Theth from Tirana. Good plan if you want to see the Albanian Alps but have limited time. A lot of the day is spent in the car but it’s worth it for the views. What a great idea to combine a canoe trip on the lagoon with a visit to Berat, well done. Great Trip Highlight of Albania
We had the best time on our trip. Our guide (Gezim Shimi) was so professional, knowledgeable and such a safe and professional driver. He made sure of our comfort and went the extra mile making certain our needs were met. He showed us places and views you could not find without taking this guided trip. This tour was impeccably organized, ensuring a seamless and stress-free journey. I didn't know what to expect from the lagoon beforehand & was pleasently surprised by the boat trip.
